BIG BERRY and Bela krajina together in Planica

Last Saturday, on the 24th of March, BIG BERRY took part in one more outstanding sporting event. The International Ski Federation (FIS) World Cup Final in Ski Jumping, in Planica, Slovenia, gave the company the opportunity to spread the Bela krajina culture and concept of the resort internationally.

During one whole day, BIG BERRY team members, with the support of RIC Bela krajina and its partners, offered traditional drinks: local brandy rakija by Domačija Kuzma; raspberry wine by Kmetija Pavlovič, and white wine offered by Šuklje, as well as pogača handmade bread, made on site by Bernarda Kump from Belokranjsko izročilo.

Located in the Press Room, the space dedicated for BIG BERRY was visited by innumerable journalists from different parts of the world and also by Slovenian authorities such as Miro Cerar, ex Prime Minister of Slovenian; Zdravko Počivalšek - Ministry of Economic Development and Technology; Eva Štravs Podlogar, Secretary of Ministry of Economic Development and Technology and also Duško Marković Montenegrin Prime Minister.

While the Ski Jumping competitions were happening outside, a BIG BERRY raffle game took place in the press room. The winner, a journalist from Poland, received a two-day voucher to stay at the BIG BERRY Kolpa River resort. Different magazines and leaflets about Bela krajina, as well as BIG BERRY souvenirs, such as cookies made by Domače Dobrote Mojca, were handed out during the event.

The Duke Group company also supported BIG BERRY during the event with their tableware, where drinks were served during the day.
