A Trip to Croatian Gem

We set off with the first sun rays. The dawn in Slovenia is indeed magic: the curving paths surrounded by forest’s greenery wrapped in mesmerizing fog. Our destination was the oldest city in Croatia ― Zadar, which traces evidence of life from the very Stone Age. The city carries an exceptional historical atmosphere, which whispers about Croatian bravery throughout the centuries. Zadar is surrounded by walls with towers and gates built in Ancient Times by Julius Caesar, on which one can read Croatian history and life experience.

One of the most refined pieces of architecture in Zadar is St. Anastasia's Cathedral ― a basilica in Romanesque style with semi-circular arches built in the 12th to 13th century.

On our way home we encountered a large red round in its utmost beauty ― the setting sun. It was an unforgettable moment: to bathe in its colorful rays and observe how slowly it wanders across the pinky sky down into the formidable mountains.
