About the exhibition “San Lucar”
The photography of Kai Kuss depicts the Bay of Almeria in Andalusia. The region has served as a shooting location for countless films, the light from its landscapes offering ideal conditions. On the nearby Mediterranean coast, refugees land from Africa. Many of them are put to work in the hothouses of the “Mar del Plastico”.
About the artist Kai Kuss
He was born in Hallein. Now he lives and works in Salzburg. Kuss attended the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He also gained valuable experience in Arizona and Mexico thanks to international fellowships offered through the Province of Salzburg.
Exhibition Details
- Exhibition Venue: Hohensalzburg Fortress, Photography Room (Hoher Stock, on the right next to the entrance to the Fortress Museum)
- Hours: daily 9:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., from May 9 a.m. - 7 p.m. and by appointment
