A reason to look at the sky

04. 08. 2017

The Perseid meteor shower, one of the brighter meteor showers of the year, occurs every year between July 7 and August 24, even though the best days to see the event are between August 9-13.
The best opportunity to view the Perseids, and most other meteor showers, is when the sky is the darkest.

Made of tiny space debris from the comet Swift-Tuttle, the Perseids are named after the constellation Perseus and they can be seen in the Northern Hemisphere.
Here is a good activity to do with your child, family or friends and integrate everyone in astronomy, while you relax at BIG BERRY, next to Kolpa River.
