Memorial symbol in Gornje Laze

In the village Gornje Laze, a 10-minute drive from Semič, stands a landmark dedicated to the fallen combatants of the 1st Bela krajina troops, founded on 28th October, 1941 on Smuk. In the memory of the National Liberation Front and the fallen combatants, the residents of Semič mark this day by a municipal celebration.
