The Story of Lily Aldridge

Lily Aldridge is not your average California girl. This 30-year-old beautiful brunette has made her name as one of the hottest and most sought after Victoria’s Secret models on the fashion scene, and it’s little wonder. Born as the daughter to British artist Alan Aldridge, Playboy Playmate mother Laura Lyons, and with model siblings... Lily’s looks and bubbly character were bound to take her to the top!

Her career kicked off at the age of 16, where she began modelling for Abercrombie & Fitch and featured in a string of advertising campaigns for top brands such as Rag & Bone, Bobbi Brown, Tommy Hilfiger, Levi’s and many more. Then, in rolled the magazine covers with Spanish Vogue, Elle Brazil, and Esquire Mexico among her many. But it was Lily’s 2014 Sports Illustrated Cover which she shared with fellow SI models Chrissy Teigen and Nina Agdal that took the crown!

But perhaps more famously recognised, Lily has been walking at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show since 2009. A year following her debut appearance, she was given her wings and has been working as an Angel ever since. Most recently, for the 2015 show, Lily was honored with the Fantasy Bra look – the most lavish and expensive hand-encrusted bra that features in every annual show. This year, the bra was worth an estimated $2 million with around 65,00 gems and designed by jewelers Mouawad.
