Oprah Winfrey's Camping Adventure
12. 06. 2016
In 2010 Oprah Winfrey headed out to a camping trip to Yosemite National Park in California with her best friend Gayle Kings. The visit had a truly good cause because park ranger Shelton Johnson asked Oprah for help. Shelton approached Oprah with his concern about the low number of African-Americans visiting the national parks each year. Back then only 1% of all visitors were African-American. Of course, Oprah came to the rescue, snatched her best friend and went on a camping trip.
